Sansi Incense Sticks

Overview

Sansi is an incense stick brand offering a range of aromatic fragrances designed to create calming, sensory experiences. Arde Interactive was engaged to build the brand identity and packaging system from the ground up, establishing a visual language that reflects purity, tranquility, and everyday ritual.

Challenge

As a new entrant in a highly saturated incense market, Sansi needed a distinct and memorable identity that could stand out on retail shelves while still conveying serenity and authenticity. The primary challenge was to balance visual softness and spiritual cues with a modern, commercially viable design system that could extend seamlessly across multiple fragrance variants.

Approach

Our approach focused on expressing calmness through minimalism and refined detailing. We developed a brand language rooted in mindfulness, purity, and gentle sensory indulgence.

Solution

A graceful floral-inspired emblem was developed as the core brand mark, symbolising balance, harmony, and the natural origins of the fragrances. The typography was carefully selected to feel soft and fluid, reinforcing the calming personality of the brand.

 

The packaging system was designed with a clean, minimal layout and delicate botanical patterns that subtly differentiate fragrance variants through colour. The structured box design and internal layout ensure both visual appeal and functional protection of the incense sticks.

 

The overall packaging experience was crafted to feel like an extension of the ritual itself — calm, intentional, and refined.

Outcome

The resulting brand and packaging system gives Sansi a distinctive and premium presence in the incense category. The identity stands out through its understated elegance while maintaining strong shelf visibility and clear product differentiation across fragrances.
